Erika began practicing yoga 17 years ago sampling numerous styles of yoga. In 2004 she was inspired to deepen her yoga practice and commitment after experiencing huge heath and lifestyle benefits through the Dru Yoga style. She made an unexpected decision to begin a life-changing 3 year Dru Yoga Teacher Training Diploma in 2007. Initially training for personal interest and to ‘keep herself on the yogic and spiritual path’, she set about teaching and sharing her love of yoga and its wisdom after completing her diploma in 2010. An interest in teaching yoga to children, and yoga for pregnancy has grown into a passion, alongside her own experiences of pregnancy and motherhood and nurturing resilient children with spark. With post graduate training in both kids and pre-natal yoga, and recent training specifically in the practice of Mindfulness, Erika currently teaches Dru Yoga Classes and Mindfulness classes (for adults), and Yoga and Mindfulness for Children classes in the northern suburbs of Wollongong. She teaches with both deep respect for the ancient yoga tradition and the pratices of mindfulness, as well as a sense of fun, joy and lightness.

Dru Yoga

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. With its foundations set firmly in the ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit – improving strength, flexibility and core stability; enhancing positivity; and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating the whole being. Dru Yoga is designed to be practiced by people of all abilities, fitness levels and age groups.

Training and Accreditation
Erika Steller is a registered Dru Yoga Teacher and member of the DPN (Dru Professional Network). She is certified by Rainbow Kids Yoga and Dru Kids and Teens, and has completed a Diploma of Pre and Post Natal Yoga Teaching with the IYTA (International Yoga Teachers Association). Erika has completed the Mindful Schools Certification in Mindfulness Fundamentals and Mindful Educator Essentials (Mindfulness in Schools).
